City Engineer Tim Parker recommended and the board authorized Mayor Trey Gunn to request activation of the Williams Road Pedestrian Improvements Project through the Mississippi Department of Transportation's Transportation Alternatives (TA) Program. The motion carried unanimously.
The board confirmed MCWI Administration Team Reimbursement Request #6 — tied to Phase III change orders — and moved forward with that request; the vote recorded Alderman Mason Herrin as not participating. The board also approved renewing mosquito control services with Vector Disease Control International for one year beginning April 15, 2026; approved the mid-month claims docket; and authorized travel for Court Clerk Melissa McCue to the Mississippi Municipal Court Clerk's conference June 30–July 2, 2026 (registration $50). Minutes show approval of the March 3, 2026 minutes (Alderman Grantham abstained) and multiple routine administrative approvals.
