Florence approves $49,780 emergency repairs to Stonebrook sewer

The motion was made by Alderman Sistrunk and seconded by Alderman Grantham and carried unanimously.
The board also authorized sending Water/Sewer Operator Billy Russell to the MS Rural Water Association Operator Expo March 24–25, 2026 (registration fee $200), and approved other staff training including several department heads attending a municipal liability and workers' compensation workshop April 23, 2026. The emergency repair approval and planned training were recorded together as public-works items in the minutes.
