City events staff presented the schedule and logistics for Draper Days, confirming headliners, family activities, vendor spaces and crowd-flow plans.
An events presenter said the two nights of stage entertainment are contracted and the headliners include the group The Frontmen and other returning acts. The presenter summarized park activities — inflatables, BMX shows, a pie-baking contest, concerts, and fireworks — and noted that most park activities will be free to attendees. On sponsorships, staff reported "about $12,000 in sponsorships" received so far toward a roughly $110,000 target.
Staff outlined safety and operational details for the park: the fireworks fallout zone will be hard-closed during Friday and Saturday events and will restrict public access to a fenced-off area. Vendor application counts were provided (about 43 accepted for handmade vendors, roughly 21 business vendors accepted); parade entries were limited to 100 with about 35 entries so far.
