Board notes ISBE compliance, to post Truth in Taxation requirements; Callaway will serve as IASB delegate
Summary
The board recorded an ISBE civil rights Methods of Administration compliance finding, will post Truth in Taxation information before November, received a FOIA update with no action, and Member Callaway volunteered as the district IASB assembly delegate.
Under unfinished business the board noted that the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) found the district compliant on the Methods of Administration Civil Rights Review. Trustees were told updates on strategic planning would be discussed at the November meeting. Member Callaway volunteered to be the district’s 2024 membership delegate to the IASB Assembly at the joint annual conference.
Superintendent Weidner said Truth in Taxation requirements will be posted to the district website prior to the November meeting. A FOIA update was presented and no board action was required. President Freese adjourned the meeting at 8:27 p.m.
