Elementary principal: strong start, new 'Growth Mindset' theme and expanded reading supports

Neaveill also listed school logistics and safety preparations: a fire drill and evacuation drill were practiced, bus safety drills took place during elementary PE classes, vision and hearing screenings are scheduled for Oct. 9–10, and school pictures are Oct. 16. She noted Grandparent's Day had more than 300 attendees and thanked the American Legion Auxiliary for donated school supplies.
