Board advances IASB policy readings, elects treasurer and approves tentative FY25 budget
Summary
At the Aug. 21 meeting the board approved the second reading of IASB Issue 115, approved a first reading of Issue 116, elected Rodd Runyen as treasurer (one abstention recorded), and approved the tentative FY25 budget.
The board approved the second reading of IASB recommended board policy changes (Issue 115) on a motion by Curran, and later approved the first reading of Issue 116 on a motion by Miller.
In new business President Pro Tem Miller moved to nominate and elect Rodd Runyen as school board treasurer; the roll-call vote recorded one abstention (Runyen) and the motion carried. Greenwood moved and the board approved the tentative FY25 budget; the motion passed on recorded roll call.
