Principals report enrollment gains, renewed mental-health partnership; superintendent outlines roof timeline and field dedication

Neaveill said elementary enrollment is up seven students compared with last year.
Principal Willard presented a chart of IAR scores showing junior high students with many scores above the state average, noted renewed partnership with the Piatt County Mental Health Department to provide eleven drug-prevention classes to junior high students, and reported that junior and senior high enrollment is up eighteen students. Superintendent Emily Weidner noted Back to School Night on Aug. 8, said the junior high roof project should be completed by mid-September, and said fall scrimmages Aug. 23 will include recognition of athletes and dedication of the football field as Workman Henricks Field.
