The Cerro Gordo CUSD 100 Board of Education approved several personnel actions at its Aug. 21 regular meeting. On a motion by Rodd Runyen, the board approved the hiring of Jody Giberson as a fourth-grade teacher; the motion carried on a roll-call vote with all members recorded as voting yea.
The board also approved an increase in salary and hours for teacher Dawnaya Key after a Spanish III class was added to her schedule, following a motion by President Pro Tem Miller. In addition, the board voted to approve the assignment of teacher mentors on a motion by Curran. All personnel motions passed on recorded roll-call votes as reflected in the meeting minutes.
