County moves two part-time employees to permanent status; county engineer to leave July 25

County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented personnel matters and the board approved two status changes: Kadyn Paulson, a part-time Jailer/Dispatcher, was moved to permanent part-time status effective June 20, 2025 after completing a one-year probationary period; Shannon Paplow, a part-time Landfill Scale Operator, was moved to permanent part-time status effective June 23, 2025 after completing a six-month probationary period.
The board also accepted the resignation of County Engineer Nick Klisch; the minutes set his last working day as July 25, 2025, with the final termination date to be determined. Thongvivong additionally reported that a previously extended job offer to one of two part-time Jailer/Dispatcher applicants had been withdrawn.
