"Ultimately, 265,000 was included in the state budget for Archer Lodge," the town administrator said. Several council members urged a careful review of the park master plan and recommended prioritizing shade (trees or shade structures), picnic seating and low-maintenance plantings; one councilor proposed revisiting master-plan elements for unbuilt areas within the next one to two months before moving forward with additional purchases.
