County staff told commissioners that the State Auditors recommended adding language to the Procurement Policy under Section 8, Paragraph I — Suspension and Debarment — to provide options for reviewing whether a contractor appears on suspension or debarment lists. County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong relayed the recommendation.
Commissioner Wayne Maras moved and Commissioner Donna Gravley seconded a motion to approve the added language and to post it for a 30-day comment period; the measure passed unanimously. The minutes record the board's vote but do not include the exact revised wording; the text will be subject to public comment during the posting period.
