Neuse River Football Alliance outlines youth programs and plans for Archer Lodge fields

Mark Morgan, executive director of the Neuse River Football Alliance, told Archer Lodge council the group provides youth soccer and development programs across Johnston County and neighboring towns and will use new town park fields for recreation and higher-level programming.
"Our game, opening weekend for recreation is, September 8, and we plan on utilizing it as as much as Chris and David will let us," Morgan said, describing the association's Little Strikers program (starting as young as age 2), recreational play through U18, and recent additions including a WPSL women's team and an adult UPSL men’s team at the premier level. Morgan said the community center office and partnership with the town has been longstanding and that the organization will begin on-field programming after Labor Day.
