Watertown authority schedules Aug. 26 public hearing on proposed water and sewer rate changes

The motion directs town staff to publish the required public hearing notice under Connecticut General Statutes §§7-239 and 7-255 and to prepare hearing materials, including Exhibit A (the proposed rate schedule) and Exhibit B (illustrative customer bill impacts). Paul Shapiro called the vote and announced the motion "carries unanimously," formally approving the hearing date, exhibits and notice process. The board confirmed the consultant who prepared the study will present at the hearing and be available for questions.
