Planning Commission to follow 2005 Master Plan format as it seeks consultants

Planning Commission Chair Julie Bonello told the council the commission intends to follow the 2005 Master Plan format while updating the village's Master Plan. The commission will draft a letter of intent and an RFP to solicit consultants and has scheduled a workshop on Sept. 13 from 9-11 a.m. EST to begin scope discussions.
Council member Mike Botelho also moved that Sport Courts pause construction until the Master Plan framework is completed; after a roll call vote the motion passed 5-0. The pause is intended to keep the Master Plan process from proceeding with piecemeal projects that might conflict with the long-term plan.
