The Minidoka County Joint School District Board approved two business items at its March 17 meeting: the Migrant Education summer school budget and the district Guest Teacher Handbook.
Vice Chair Mary Andersen moved to approve the Migrant summer school budget and Trustee Claridge seconded; the motion carried. The meeting minutes record a subsequent motion by Trustee Kent, seconded by Vice Chair Andersen, to approve the Guest Teacher Handbook; that motion also carried.
The motions were recorded in the minutes as formal actions; the board did not attach additional conditions or amendments in the meeting record. The approved handbook will guide substitute/guest teacher procedures going forward, and the Migrant summer school budget will fund the program as presented in the board packet.
