The Village of Michiana Council approved several sets of minutes and routine financial items during its Sept. 6 meeting. Tim McCarthy moved to approve Council Meeting minutes from Aug. 9, Planning minutes from Aug. 16 and Tree Board minutes from Aug. 21 and Aug. 30; Nancy Thill seconded and the motion passed.
Clerk Anne Heywood asked the council to approve the check register totaling $162,192.46; Tim McCarthy moved to approve the register and Mike Botelho seconded. The motion passed. The council also set its next meeting for Friday, Oct. 11, and changed the start time to 12:00 p.m. EST. These administrative approvals were recorded during roll call and routine reports.
