Carlinville board approves coaching and event-worker hires for 2025-26

The board approved John Trux as Head High School Wrestling Coach and authorized Mason Duckels and Dylan Best to share the middle-school boys' basketball coaching position. The board also approved event workers Jennifer Swann, Tim Tarter, Sandy Lane, Michael Quarton, Mary Lauwerens and Julie Gibson and tutors Vanessa Kufa, Alexis Hill, Macy Walker, Lauren Clevenger, Stephanie Duncan and Missy Trump. The motion to approve the hires was made by Brandon Little and seconded by Kyle Bradley and passed by roll-call vote 4-0. The approvals were "pending successful completion of all paperwork," as the minutes state.
These appointments were recorded as formal board action and will be finalized once required employment documentation is complete.
