The West Bonner County School District #83 Facilities Committee met Jan. 8, 2025, at Priest River Lamanna High School to finalize its membership and solicit volunteers. Director of Operations Ryan Carruth led the discussion and asked interested individuals to leave contact information on a sign‑in sheet so the committee could consider additional appointments.
"Mr. Carruth requested that individuals interested in joining the committee leave their information on the sign in sheet available at the meeting," the minutes record. The meeting list included teachers, trustees, maintenance staff, and local industry professionals: Jared Wells (lumber/logging); Rob Hoepfer (HVAC); Mike McMahon (teacher); Candy Turner (retired teacher/resident); Paul Turco (Board trustee and parent); Ann Yount (Trustee); Brandon Moon (former maintenance manager); Matt George (principal); Jared Hughes (teacher/CTE), and Kevin Wagner (current maintenance supervisor). The committee agreed to continue recruiting to fill any remaining expertise gaps and to meet again in February and March.
The committee did not take a formal vote on appointments at this meeting; Mr. Carruth said the sign‑in sheet would be used to follow up with potential members and that the committee would make formal recommendations later.
