The board approved two technology expenditures at the March 6 meeting. Secretary John P. Vranas moved to continue with a district staff-and-student 1:1 technology refresh for the 2025-26 school year in an amount not to exceed $183,000; the motion was seconded and approved unanimously. Separately, the Board approved replacement of 8th-grade STEM lab computers not to exceed $14,500.
Both approvals were recorded as carried by the full board. Administration and the Finance Committee had previously discussed these recommendations; the Finance Committee expressed support at its February meeting. Implementation responsibility was assigned to district technology and curriculum staff for scheduling and deployment ahead of the 2025-26 school year.
