In a written report presented to the council, City Superintendent Blaine Medina said the BCBS Pathways sidewalks—one west of the Economic Development office and one east of the Midwest Energy office—are complete. Superintendent Medina also reported that parking stripes were painted on south Highway 25 and that B & H Paving will begin chip sealing the northeast quadrant on Thursday, July 23.
Medina's report noted the high-service pump at the treatment plant will be serviced soon by a JCI pump specialist. The city crew will deliver trash cans and dumpsters for upcoming fair festivities and will work until noon on Friday, July 31 to complete the trash route.
