Trustee raises blight concern; village clarifies bulky-item trash pickup rules

Trustee Thompson added that if residents call the hauler, the item will be collected but the hauler may assess a charge of roughly $40–$50. President Terry Counley asked Chief Beatty to remind officers of pickup schedules, and Deputy Clerk Prehn said she would include guidance in the village newsletter.
The board did not enact new code changes at the meeting; the discussion resulted in staff direction to remind residents and enforce existing pickup procedures.
