City IT contractors recommended that council approve a request-for-proposal award to ImageNet Consulting LLC to replace the city’s multifunction copiers and printers. Nick Schornick, who described his role overseeing IT operations, said the new solution includes reporting tools to monitor printing expense by department and recommended a 60-month lease for 20 Konica Minolta devices at $2,211.60 per month covering installation, maintenance, parts, labor and toner.
"All these reports can be, can help save budget for the city by being able to look where they're all being spent," Schornick said, adding that the proposed lease includes full-service support and provides department-level click reporting. The council moved and approved the lease award by roll call.
