Board adopts regulation adding dipentylone and seven fentanyl-related substances to Schedule I

On March 5 the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy adopted two rule actions to expand Schedule I controlled-substance listings. Darla Zarley, Grant and Project Analyst, presented a proposed NAC amendment to add N‑pyrrolidino metonitazene and N‑pyrrolidino protonitazene; the Board approved the amendment unanimously. At a subsequent public hearing Zarley presented LCB File No. R107-25 to add dipentylone and seven fentanyl-related substances to Schedule I; Adam Porath moved to adopt R107-25 and Krystal Freitas seconded. The Board adopted the regulation as presented with a unanimous vote and recorded no public comment.
The adopted regulation (LCB File No. R107-25) and the NAC amendment expand the State's Schedule I listings to include several emerging synthetic opioids; the Board set no conditions and directed staff to finalize the regulatory filings.
