Teachers and parents urge board to prioritize students amid concerns about district dysfunction

Middle School Science Teacher Matthew Sowinski thanked the board for the opportunity to speak and said he would discuss a personnel-related concern in closed session when asked.
Public commenters asked for greater transparency about unfilled key positions and urged the board to support teacher retention through pay and leadership that models accountability.
