Lemont Twp HSD 210 adopts multiple policy updates from PRESS Issue #117
Summary
The Lemont Township High School District 210 Board adopted a package of policy updates recommended from PRESS Issue #117 covering ethics, purchasing, safety, personnel and curriculum-related policies.
At its Feb. 18 meeting, the Lemont Township High School District 210 Board adopted a set of policy updates recommended by the superintendent and drawn from PRESS Issue #117. The motion (Action Consideration #24-51) listed numerous policy revisions, including Policy 2:105 (Ethics and Gift Ban), Policy 4:60 (Purchases and Contracts), Policy 5:125 (Electronic Communication and Social Media) and Policy 7:180 (Prevention of and Response to Bullying, Intimidation, and Harassment).
The board approved the package on a recorded roll call. Superintendent Dr. Mary Ticknor recommended the adoptions as district-aligned updates; the minutes show the board accepted the changes as presented, which will be reflected in the district policy manual.
