The Nevada State Board of Pharmacy on Jan. 14–15 approved a large set of pharmacy licensure actions, including Golden Health Pharmacy and a batch approval of 76 Walgreens Nevada locations, several out‑of‑state Walgreens locations, and Walgreens HUB Solutions.
Counsel for Walgreens and company representatives (William Stilling, Michael Simko and Rick Gates, Chief Pharmacy Officer for Walgreens) appeared and answered Board questions. By motion of Jade Jacobo, seconded by Adam Porath, the Board approved Golden Health Pharmacy and the group of Walgreens licenses; the action passed unanimously. The minutes list many additional approved licenses across the agenda, including small independent applicants (Evergreens Drugs; Hope Christian Pharmacy; M. Rx Pharmacy; Lovelock Pharmacy pending SOP review) and out‑of‑state applicants such as KabaFusion and Premise Health Wellness Center.
The approvals included both Nevada in‑state pharmacy licenses and out‑of‑state pharmacy or wholesaler licenses; several matters were tabled or continued as noted in the minutes.
