Board approves summer speech-therapy contract and names IMRF authorized agent

The board approved a contract with Grow & Shine Speech Therapy PLLC to provide summer-school speech services from June 2 through July 3, 2025 (Action Item 25-56). Member Ivory Myles moved approval and Member Kimberly Chalmers seconded; the motion carried with five AYEs and two absences.
The board also approved a resolution (Action Item 25-57) appointing Dr. Sheila Johnson as the district's Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) authorized agent. Member Chalmers moved and Member Barnett seconded the motion; roll-call recorded five AYEs and the resolution passed.
