Street/Water employee Bruce Whitecotten to leave April 3; crews install lagoon bypass valve

Street/Water supervisor Ryan Farrar told the Board that staff are working on mapping software updates and have installed a bypass valve at the lagoon to keep water from back feeding during heavy rain events.
Farrar announced that Bruce Whitecotten’s last day will be April 3, 2026. Whitecotten attended the meeting and thanked the Board for his tenure as a Street/Water employee.
Farrar also reported that crews continue routine maintenance tasks; no personnel replacements were announced at the meeting.
