Pam Borders presented the water department report, listing system counts and permit activity: 809 water customers, 627 garbage customers, seven new customers and four final reads. She also noted one solar permit filed for 804 Skeeter Ridge Lane.
Borders described two appeals. For Makayla Mitchell, whose washing-machine cold-water valve broke and caused a leak, the Board approved a $12 reimbursement for sewer/water. For Love and Truth Church, which experienced a multi-day leak, the Board elected to charge the church its average sewer bill and bill water usage at Rend Lake Water District rates.
The Board recorded these customer-level billing decisions during the report and moved on to other agenda items.
