The board was told summer school will run at Big Hollow for three weeks, June 1–19, 2026, Monday through Friday, with no session on June 19 because it is a holiday. Dr. Scott Schwartz said the district will charge a $300 participation fee to help supplement program costs; families may establish payment plans and remaining funds in the Lullabye account may be used to assist eligible families.
Two invite-only classes—one for English learners and one for intervention services—will be offered at no cost, and students receiving Extended School Year (ESY) services will not be charged a fee. The district is scheduling programming to begin June 1 and end June 19, with the holiday on the latter date noted in board materials.
