Creve Coeur School District No. 76 board holds brief executive session, approves five hires

The Board of Education of Creve Coeur School District No. 76 convened a special meeting at 4:00 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Litchfield Building, President Linda Bailey said. After roll call (Brenda Keogel, Brandon Lang, Pamela I. Greiner and Linda Bailey present; Valerie Ragon, Mason Shear and Amanda Stimeling absent), the board voted to enter executive session at 4:04 p.m. "for Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of Specific Employee(s) of the Public Body, Collective Bargaining matters between the Public Body and the Exclusive Representatives of its Certified Employees, and Review of Executive Session Minutes," a motion recorded in the minutes said. The roll-call vote was Keogel, Lang, Greiner and Bailey in favor; none opposed.
The board resumed the public meeting at 4:16 p.m. and moved through a series of personnel motions. The board approved the employment of Serenity Schreiber (paraprofessional), Lisa Fuchs (bus driver), Barb Angle (bus monitor), James Adams (homebound tutor) and David Deweese (substitute custodian) for the 2025–2026 school year. Each hire was made by a motion (motions were moved and seconded as noted in the minutes) and passed by unanimous roll-call vote with Keogel, Lang, Greiner and Bailey recorded as "yea." The board adjourned at 4:18 p.m.
