The Board of Education of Creve Coeur School District No. 76 held a special meeting on Aug. 8, 2025. President Linda Bailey called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. The board answered roll call; Amanda Stimeling was recorded as absent and Superintendent Johnson was present.
At 4:02 p.m. the board entered executive session on a motion by Valerie Ragon, seconded by Pamela Greiner, to discuss appointment and employment of specific employees, collective bargaining matters with its certified employees' exclusive representative, and review of executive-session minutes. The board returned to open session at 4:13 p.m. on a motion by Valerie Ragon, seconded by Brenda Keogel.
After resuming the regular session the board approved a "3-Year Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the Creve Coeur School District #76 Board of Education and the Creve Coeur Education Association" on a motion by Linda Bailey, seconded by Brenda Keogel. Minutes show the vote as unanimous (Yeas: Keogel, Lang, Ragon, Shear, Greiner, Bailey).
The board also moved to employ Charles Drew as Playground Supervisor for the 2025-2026 school year (motion by Brenda Keogel, second by Mason Shear); that motion likewise passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 4:14 p.m. on a motion by Linda Bailey, seconded by Brenda Keogel. The minutes supply motions, seconders and roll-call tallies but do not publish contract terms or personnel employment details such as salary.
