North Shore SD 112 board adopts Strategic Change Agenda outlining mission, vision and goals

The board unanimously approved the district's Strategic Change Agenda—mission, vision, values and three goal areas—after a stakeholder-driven process led by the district and consultants from the Schlechty Center.
Dr. Monica Schroeder presented the final Strategic Change Agenda March 18, 2025, which reflects input from more than 260 stakeholders and consultants from the Schlechty Center. The document sets out the district mission, vision, values (compassion, connection, equity, growth, integrity, safety) and three goal areas: student success and well-being; relationships and partnerships; and attracting and retaining quality staff while using resources strategically.
The Board voted unanimously to approve the Strategic Change Agenda. Administration will publish the summary document on the district website and review the agenda annually to ensure alignment with best practices and community needs.
