District committee recommends Amplify Desmos Math for middle schools; board to vote April 22

Lexi Robinson, Teaching and Learning Coordinator, presented the middle school math selection committee’s recommendation to adopt Amplify Desmos Math for grades 6–8 and certain advanced courses. The committee piloted top choices and recommended Amplify Desmos Math for its engagement and collaborative features; next school year middle-school math instruction will increase to 60 minutes per day.
The recommended six-year license (print and digital) is listed at $261,216.80. For Algebra I alignment in 7th/8th grade advanced courses, the administration recommended a one-year extension of the Savvas enVision2.0 license at $43,394.40. The Board will be asked to approve these purchases at the April 22, 2025 Regular Board meeting.
