IASB representatives introduced to Rankin SD 98 board at special meeting

Two outreach and training directors from the Illinois Association of School Boards introduced themselves to the Rankin School District #98 Board of Education early in the Jan. 13 special meeting. The minutes identify the visitors as Dr. Alana Bedard and Dr. Natalie Williams-McMahon, who were welcomed by the board.
Their visit coincided with a board-entered executive session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(16) for a self-evaluation with a statewide association representative. The board later reported consensus that the self-reflection was productive and agreed to present key takeaways at the regular meeting scheduled for Jan. 27, 2025.
