District reports status of two 10-year health and life safety surveys

The committee received an update on the status of two 10-year Health and Life Safety (HLS) surveys.
Dr. Matt Gordon said the two surveys (7-10-12 and 6-24-21) remain open in the district. He reported that one item exists only on the 7-10-12 survey and was not added to the 6-24-21 survey; because of confusing regulations around HLS funds he recommended leaving the older survey open. By contrast, he said the 6-24-21 survey has numerous items already completed and that the district is ahead of schedule on those items.
The committee did not take formal action but accepted the update and asked staff to continue tracking completion of HLS items and funding implications.
