River Forest SD 90 Committee of the Whole approves calendar, summer school rates and personnel report

Ms. Stacey Williams called the River Forest School District 90 Committee of the Whole to order at approximately 7:00 p.m. and reported four community participants in person and two on Zoom. "It was moved by Dr. Thompson and seconded by Mrs. Avalos that the Board of Education approve the agenda as presented," the board recorded; the roll call vote was unanimous and the motion carried.
Superintendent Dr. Edward Condon presented a second draft of the 2025–26 board meeting calendar and reported edits made since the first review; the board approved the calendar on a unanimous roll call after a motion by Dr. Kristine Mackey and second by Dr. Nicole Thompson. Anthony Cozzi, the district’s Chief Operations Officer, presented a revised set of 2025 summer school tuition rates and the summer calendar; a subsequent motion to adopt those revisions passed unanimously. Dr. Christine Trendel outlined an updated curriculum review cycle and the district received mid‑year Action Plan objective updates from the superintendent. Dr. Condon also announced the district will host a World Café with Dr. Rachael Mahmood and noted that "the honorarium has been funded through the District 90 grant account at the OPRF Community Foundation." The Committee adjourned at about 7:32 p.m.
