Clark County adopts BYOD update to personnel manual and moves May meeting to Clark State PAC

The Clark County Board of Commissioners adopted updates to the Personnel Policy Manual, including revised language for Section 7-R (Cell Phone and Bring Your Own Device policy) effective Jan. 1, 2026. The Board also voted to move the May 6 Commission meeting to the Clark State Performing Arts Center at 5:30 p.m.
Commissioner Sasha L. Rittenhouse said there should be no work session that week and suggested scheduling a work session in June. The change in meeting location and policy updates passed by unanimous vote. Commissioners also noted calendar items including a July fly-in and recommended additional public work sessions on site selection when appropriate.
