River Forest Board opens meeting, approves agenda and records roll call

The River Forest School District 90 Board of Education convened at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2025, in the Roosevelt Middle School Library Learning Center. Board President Stacey Williams called the meeting to order and a roll call recorded Ms. Williams, Mrs. Katie Avalos, Mr. Joseph Cortese (via phone), Dr. Nicole Thompson, Dr. Kristine Mackey and Dr. Eric Isenberg as present.
After a brief student presentation introduced by Superintendent Dr. Ed Condon, the board voted to approve the meeting agenda. The motion was moved by Dr. Kristine Mackey and seconded by Dr. Nicole Thompson; the roll call showed six ayes and no nays, and the motion carried. The approval established the order of business for the evening, which included personnel and facilities items and several presentations.
