City Administrator Tanner Faust provided a 2027 budget update on July 20, telling the Lindsborg City Council that the county clerk set a revenue neutral rate of 53.325 mills and that the city’s proposed levy in the draft budget is 49.389 mills. He said staff added a column to the budget book to indicate whether line items are increases or decreases compared with the prior year.
Faust said the council will resume budget discussion at its Aug. 17 meeting. No formal budget adoption or vote occurred at this session; the information was presented for council review and future action.
