The Monroe Plan Commission recommended approval of a certified survey map (CSM) for Melody Hogg (Parcel 2301000510100), an extraterritorial plat dividing an existing house lot into two parcels in Quarano Township.
A staff presenter explained that the city’s review authority covers plats within one mile and a half of the city boundary; staff does not foresee issues for future development given the distance from city core. "They're just dividing that lot into 2 lots, out in Quarano Township," the presenter said, and staff recommended forwarding the CSM to the Common Council with no objection.
A commissioner moved to recommend approval to the Common Council using the parcel number shown on the agenda; a second was recorded and the commission approved the recommendation by roll call.
