On the record, Administrator described several specific changes: a decrease in projected general transportation revenue, reductions in budgeted labor attorney and zoning‑related expenses after reviewing more complete year‑to‑date information, and adjustments reflecting where activity has stabilized. She also explained the RDA payment schedule tied to a past agreement, saying, “This 2025 is the last year paying the RDA a 120,000, then $60,000 final payment in 2026.” Committee members voted to send the budget package to council; the clerk called the roll and the motion passed unanimously.
Staff said they will include the required resolution in the council packet and invited committee members to submit questions as they review the documentation before the public hearing. Any final approval of the budget will occur at the common council meeting after the public hearing.
