Staff said NGA's new reporting capabilities will allow access to call counts, times and durations, though some data transfers are still pending. Carrie and other dispatch staff are developing policies and training for dispatcher‑initiated text‑to‑9‑1‑1 with plans to expand the service to other call types over time.
Board members and NGA confirmed those figures and discussed the integration of call‑data reporting with ongoing system upgrades. Staff noted the radio console upgrade and other projects are part of efforts to keep dispatch fully interoperable with the statewide system.
