Board member Matt Peterson moved to forward ongoing mobile notification purchases to the County Commission and to fund them from the E‑911 fund up to $75,000; the board approved the motion by voice vote.
"So there's a motion of not to exceed $75,000 to fund the mobile products," the Chair said while recording the motion and second. Discussion centered on consolidating multiple vendor invoices (eDispatch, Active 9‑1‑1, Streetwise, Tablet Commander) into the budget cycle to avoid duplicate payments and to make clear which agency pays which subscription. One board member said the intent was to transition recurring costs back to E‑911 so district budgets are not separately charged.
The board directed staff to consolidate invoices and present them as part of the budget contract cycle; staff and board members agreed to put the consolidated mobile-product costs on the tentative accounting budget in May for final approvals.
