Committee outlines summer painting, rug cleaning and classroom carpet replacement

Derek Hilliard updated the committee on planned summer maintenance activities, saying staff will clean furniture and rugs and that the committee plans to paint 10 classrooms as is typically done during summer break. He also presented a quote to replace the carpet in Logan Farris’s classroom.
"He noted that furniture and rugs are being cleaned and that there are plans to paint 10 classrooms as is usually done over the summer," the minutes read. With nearly all Category A projects complete, members used the update to discuss future wishlist items including enhanced cleaning and replacement of the rubber gym floor.
