DLA architect: band wall rebuild on track; $5,000 allowance to cover summer work

Oak Grove School District 68’s Facilities Committee heard an update June 9 from Jonathan Murawski of DLA Architects on recent masonry and construction work. Murawski reported that Grove Masonry will rebuild the band wall this summer and that Stuckey Construction’s contracted work is complete.
Committee member Jason Udstuen said the project appears to have underrun its allowance and that he will pursue returning the balance to the district for small summer projects. "Jason Udstuen will request a check for the remaining allowance amount of $5000.00 to be issued to the district for the end of the fiscal year," the minutes state. The committee discussed using that balance for minor items that arise during summer maintenance.
