The commission unanimously approved a slate of routine administrative items during the Sept. 2 meeting. The board reappointed Martha Burgamy to the Department of Family and Children Services, approved switching the county retirement plan from Corebridge to ACCG, renewed the DFACS lease for another year, authorized a Caselle online payment portal and authorized participation in the GEMA IPAWS emergency-alert system.
Each motion passed unanimously after being moved and seconded by commissioners. The minutes show Commissioner Biddle moved approval of the DFACS reappointment and Commissioner Frost seconded; similar motions carried for the retirement vendor change and the Caselle portal. No public comment or opposition is recorded in the minutes.
