Commissioners voted unanimously Dec. 2 to accept an offer to purchase two county-owned parcels recorded as Map C08-0063 (376 Broad St.) and C08-0087 (184 Wells St.). The motion was made by Commissioner Timothy Biddle and seconded by Commissioner Jason Frost; the minutes state the vote was unanimous.
The meeting packet includes a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement and a Limited Warranty Deed for the parcels. The purchase agreement explicitly states the purchase price: "The purchase price for the Property (the \"Purchase Price\"), shall be Fifty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($50,000.00)." The deed and sale documents include legal descriptions for both tracts and list the parcels as being in Chattahoochee County, Georgia (exhibits attached).
