District schedules May 22 groundbreaking, says construction and costs are being tracked

Superintendent Dr. Zaher updated the Salt Creek School District 48 Board on April 17 about construction activity at all three district buildings and announced a Groundbreaking Ceremony set for Tuesday, May 22. The ceremony will be held at each school and will include town dignitaries, she said.
Dr. Zaher said the district office is tracking both construction progress and the financials: "Roxanne Beausoliel has created a spreadsheet of all the bills from Nicholas and continues to update it with all the information," the superintendent reported. The update also noted summer staffing and meeting-location changes tied to construction: 12-month employees will be assigned to Willowbrook for the summer and the June 18 board meeting will be held at Willowbrook.
