As part of annual organizational business, the board affirmed the Regular and Committee of the Whole meeting dates for the 2025–2026 school year and approved related administrative formalities. The board affirmed authorization of signatories for imprest accounts and financial reports, designated Suburban Life and Landmark Newspapers as newspapers of record, and appointed 1st American Bank (Riverside) and Republic Bank of Chicago (Berwyn) as depositories of record; each item passed unanimously.
The board also established compensation for the non-board Secretary of the Board of Education at $7,500 per year for the two-year term (through April 2027), a motion moved by Mr. Novak and adopted unanimously under Resolution #15136. Administration said these are routine, annual items included in the April 29 packet.
